Dream Horse Guesthouse (B&B) is located in NE Ohio amongst Amish farms, and just 20 minutes from the 4th largest Amish community in the USA. This goes hand in hand with being an area dominated by the Haflinger breed of horses, some mares of which are now bred to homozygous stallions creating the new breed of NASH (North American Spotted Haflinger). NASH was originated in NE Ohio by J.P. Gantous.
Dream Horse locally purchased and bred Haflinger mares Misty and Mae, which birthed foals August ’09. Misty foaled a pure Haflinger “My Natascha” sired by “Will You Be My Valentine” (Haflinger stallion), and Mae foaled a NASH “My Sascha” sired by “Lucky Dawn Bud” (homozygous paint stallion).
Those persons wishing to purchase a NASH foal may reserve a room at Dream Horse Guesthouse (B&B) for convenience in contacting an Amish farm to choose a sire, or a NASH or Haflinger foal. Innkeepers have information and contacts for those that stay at Dream Horse. Often foals and horses are for sale.
